Senior Scientist - Analytical Development

Position Overview:
As a Senior Scientist in the Analytical Development (AD) team, you will play a vital role in shaping the quality and efficacy of our groundbreaking treatments. Your expertise will drive the design, optimization, and implementation of analytical methods critical for characterizing cell therapies. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the advancement of our product pipeline by ensuring the accuracy, reproducibility, and compliance of analytical processes. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, validation, and execution of analytical methods and potency assays for characterizing cell therapy products, including those based on flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, and digital PCR.

Collaborate with other functional teams to facilitate technology transfers and implementation of relevant analytical methods from research to clinical stages.

Design and execute experiments to assess the quality attributes and potency of cell therapy products, providing data-driven insights to guide product development.

Analyze and interpret complex analytical data, generate reports, and present findings to interdisciplinary teams.

Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and emerging technologies in analytical development for cell therapy.

Mentor junior scientists, fostering a culture of scientific rigor and innovation within the Analytical Development team.
Qualifications:

PhD or MSc in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Analytical Chemistry, or related field, with 5+ years of experience in analytical method development, ideally in cell therapy.

Experienced in pluripotent stem cell culturing and differentiation.

Proficiency in a range of analytical techniques, including multiparametric flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, and digital PCR.

Demonstrated expertise using Quality by Design (QbD) principles, Design of Experiments (DoE), and statistical methods to drive analytical development and solve complex problems.

Proven track record of designing and qualifying methods for the characterization of cell therapy products, ensuring accuracy, precision, and compliance.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements for analytical development in the context of cell therapy (FDA, EMA, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize assays effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
