Research Associate II - R&D

Position Overview: 

 

As a Research Associate II in our R&D department at a leading cell therapy company, you will play a crucial role in advancing our innovative research in engineered liver tissues derived from stem cells. This position requires hands-on laboratory work, data analysis, and collaboration within research teams.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

​

  • Assist in conducting research focused on cell therapy and tissue engineering.

  • Carry out cell culture, differentiation, and characterization protocols under the guidance of senior staff.

  • Collect, analyze, and assist in interpreting research data, maintaining accurate and detailed records.

  • Hands-on execution of animal studies, including IP injection, laparotomy and other surgical procedures, blood, and organ collection.

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to contribute to project goals and milestones.

  • Participate in regular team meetings, providing updates on research progress and contributing to problem-solving discussions.

  • Stay updated with scientific literature and developments in the field of cell therapy and regenerative medicine.

Qualifications: 
 

  • Master’s degree in Biological Sciences, Stem Cell Biology, Pharmacy, or Bioengineering with 1-2 years of experience.

  • Practical experience in cell culture, molecular biology, and animal handling, including surgical skills like laparotomy.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform experiments meticulously, record and analyze data accurately.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to learning and contributing to research projects.

  • Basic understanding of data analysis software and laboratory equipment.

  • Enthusiasm for learning new techniques and a commitment to scientific excellence.
